Oh Capernaum, hear me

Contrition you say

But attrition at best

Going around in circles

With no firm purpose of amendment.

Sorry you say

But you're still going to hurt him

Our Lord and our God

So you really feel nothing at all?

You go around

Day after day

Mortal sins and venial sins

You've lost count

Known or unknown

Wittingly or unwittingly

You pile them up

On a lonely soul

To what end?

To what end you may ask me.

From hereon to eternity

Forever and ever. Amen

There's one named heaven

Another hell

It's not a threat

It's a fact

Dread it

Run from it

Eternity arrives all the same

Make hay while you still can

No be life you dey live so

One moment you're begging for forgiveness.

The next you're begging to sin

You're approaching the rubicons

For in this life or the next

You shall restitute

Hear me oh Chorazin

Listen oh daughters of Capernaum

For in time

Very soon

All foul things

They'll come forth.
